Shraddha Kapoor and Sharvari championed soft no-makeup makeup in this week’s best beauty looks

There’s always a new beauty trend demanding our attention, somewhere between the monochrome makeup revival and the Y2K glitter comeback. But some looks don’t scream for the spotlight; they simply stay. Quietly enduring, like the friend who never needs to announce she’s arrived.

The no-makeup makeup look remains that girl. Not because it’s “easy” (spoiler: it’s anything but) but because it plays the long game. It’s the art of appearing effortless, of building a base so sheer it could pass for good genetics, and glossing over lips so they seem plump by divine intervention. It’s the invisible scaffolding behind every “woke up like this” lie. It’s the perfect blend of subtlety and precision that makes it feel like you were simply born glowing.

Shraddha Kapoor made a case for the enduring power of restraint, stepping out with dewy skin, softly defined brows, and the softest hint of brightening sheen that framed her eyes. Pearl studs, layered chains, and a tousled updo tied it all together—soft glamour without a single heavy hand. The result was understated, yes, but radiated effortless sophistication.

Sharvari leaned into a similar mood. Her pink-toned blush, winged eyeliner, and glossed lips offered the kind of polished nonchalance that looks like it took five minutes and actually took forty-five. Every detail was carefully considered, adding depth to her otherwise laid-back vibe. Minimalism, but make it practised.

Taapsee Pannu, never one to colour inside the lines, in a mocha corset sari deserved its own standing ovation. Her beauty look mirrored the mood: bold brown lips, brushed-up brows, and a lit-from-within skin finish. There was nothing timid about it, just powerful, striking elegance with a confident, unapologetic spirit.

At an event for The Hollywood Reporter, Nitanshi Goel kept it fresh in a custom Manish Gharat
outfit. A light foundation, pink-peach tones on the cheeks and eyelids, and a hint of highlighter in the inner corners of the eyes. Nothing overworked, nothing overwrought, just bottled and applied with restraint.

Sonakshi Sinha cranked up the drama in a Falguni Shane Peacock ensemble dripping in embellishments. Her makeup rose to meet the moment: a molten brown metallic eyeshadow, bold eyeliner and inner-corner highlights. The muted lip and soft blush anchored the look, while her wild, curly hair gave the whole thing an unruly, rockstar energy.
